Entries in text fields get all mixed up

i have a form where in the following hierarchy:
- Section 1
-- Group 1
--- Name
--- Register Number
-- Group 2
--- Name
--- Register Number
-- Group 3
--- Name
--- Register Number
-- Class

Problem is that once i key contents into text fields, just by scrolling the screen up and down on the ipod touches, the CONTENTS of the fields get switched - Name into class, Register numbers into Names, etc

anybody seeing this or is it just me??
